Robert Barfield, AIA, NCARB, Joins Berman & Wright

Cornelius, N.C. – Berman & Wright welcomes Robert Barfield, AIA, as the newest member of the Cornelius, North Carolina office.  Joining the team as a Project Consultant, Robert is a licensed Architect and will be focused on the areas of Design, Forensic Architecture, and Building Diagnostics.  He currently serves as the South Atlantic Regional YAF Director as well as the IDP Coordinator for North Carolina. In addition to his professional involvement with the AIA, Robert also serves as the Director of Facilities for Myers Park Baptist Church and is a member of the Advisory Council for Central Piedmont Community College’s
Architectural Technology program.

Robert has been providing service to the architectural industry for over 10 years, actively involved in architectural design, inspection, renovation, and new construction of commercial, educational, government, and industrial projects.  He is a registered Architect in North Carolina and South Carolina and holds his certification as a Construction Document Technologist.  Robert is proficient in Revit and AutoCad and has notable experience throughout the project development process, ensuring that all designs are technically sound and executed efficiently.  Robert is a great addition to our firm and we are pleased to welcome him to Berman & Wright.
